Controller
Columbus, OHOpportunity for a Controller to join an established & growing manufacturing company. We are looking for a recent controller or someone ready to make the move to controller for a 350 employee company, with 3 facilities.
The Controller will have overall management of the day-to-day accounting including the design of an organizational structure to achieve the Company’s goals.
Responsibilities include: Issue timely, accurate and complete monthly financial statements and other financial reports as needed, Develop and enhance the system of internal controls to safeguard company assets, Develop a budget and oversee actual results vs budget, Responsible for training and coaching of departmental staff, Perform and/or Manage: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Reconciliations, Cash Flow, etc., Assist owner with financial insight and leadership, Develop financial reports and analyses as needed, Ensure compliance and reporting for payroll, sales tax, income tax, government required returns and filings at the local, state and federal level.
Qualifications: Four year degree in Accounting or Finance, Prefer 3+ years of experience in a small business environment
CPA and/or MBA preferred, Self-starter, energetic, team player, yet can work independently, Effective written and verbal communication skills, Utmost respect and discretion of confidential information.
